ThaiVisa.com the biggest English language internet forum in Thailand appears to be heading for a period of controversy.

It is troubled first by its links to fraud in the shape of its shared connections with Bangkok boiler rooms, and also by the appearance of its boss George Anderssen in court in Prachuap Khiri Kan.

These combined problems probably might make complaints by posters about the forum's arrogant moderators a mere irritant.

The Thai Visa boss made his court debut two days ago in an action for fraud brought by a Mr. Grahame Beecham, who was apparently a business partner. A judge will give his judgment in two weeks as to whether Gorgeous George will stand trial.

Beecham does not however appear to be a shareholder of ThaiVisa.com. The shareholders when I was last updated were:

Somsak
Of 200,000 shares:

Erik George Anderssen, 500 shares, Shana Marie Kongman, 500, Barry James Main, 500, Rainer Rossler, 300, Gregory John Lange, 1 and A&P Consulting Co Ltd, 187,994 (93.997%)

But the Thai Visa website company is not being sued - its the Thai Visa Property Company - one of its latest business ventures.

The former sole director of A&P Consulting was Joshua Thomas Johnson-Konechny, a famous old Sunbelt Asia guy.

But he has been replaced by a Ms Pharaphan Meksiriwilai who technically is now the majority shareholder of ThaiVisa - but I am guessing she's just some sort of employee of Konechny, who, yes you guessed provides serviced offices for both the Nana Group, which runs Nana Entertainment Plaza, and a company called PowerHouse Motorcycles, belonging to Glendon Bullard.

So here we are back at 'Boiler Room Central' again. Glendon Bullard from Georgia is a notorious boiler room king, and the master lease on the Nana is controlled by his colleague in crime Briton Paul Hayward from Birmingham.

Meanwhile ThaiVisa’s lawyer Somsak Chokapa, who gives advice to Thai Visa readers, and appears to be even actually commissioned by others, is now also hawking for customers in the general news columns.

He is also promoting the talents of a Mr. Michael Leiberman as a debt collector. Michael Leiberman seems to run the Expat Law Company out of an address in Soi Kaotalo, Pattaya, and hangs out at the lobby of meetings of Neils Colov’s Pattaya Expat Club.

Hayward
Coincidentally out of the same address in Soi Kaotalo is a company called International Executive Enterprise with Somsak as the sole director.

Somsak Chokapa is of course also used as a fixer by Bangkok’s boiler room boys  for their private companies and is director of for instance or Glen Bullard’s, or the reported late Glen Bullard’s, ‘La Fayette Enterprises’ along with Donald Shane Smith (Bullard’s brother in law).

Mulvana
Local lawyers of course have been happy to front for 'The Wolves of Bangkok'  so Somsak Chokapa has been fronting for Americans Bullard and his brother in law Shane Smith,

Together with Ron Cristal (Ronnachai Kritsadaolarn) and Tsar Mulvana Somsak has also been fronting for Paul Hayward’s or Hilton’s Eclipse Group or associated companies.

Mark Hutcherson has been operating using the Phuket address of American lawyer Mathew McEvily who has a great name for a representative of boiler rooms which have cleaned out people of their pensions.

Hutcherson
Michael Leiberman who is small fry was also the director with Somsak of a company called Janmac Holdings.

Now I am not quite sure that debt collecting  is a job for which a foreigner can get a work visa but if you have a quarrel with him on, say, an internet forum you might get a reply like this: “Go sit in the corner you little baby”.

McEvily
It’s going to be interesting to see how things pan out.

With Bullard reported as having died in Pai, Northern Thailand and  Hutcherson* reported as having left to go to the US – neither event has been formally confirmed – Briton Hayward now becomes Thailand’s biggest player.

He does not like the spotlight when he cannot control the beam.

But then again expect some smoke and mirrors.

* Hutcherson later died in Texas.

  2. You didn't even mention their property interests/schemes and their curious refusal to discuss property scams.

What probably started out years ago as a useful forum seems like all these criminal links to be turning into a thai version of tensile road website...

  3. Given that several moderators in the past have variously been prosecuted and convicted of murder and child molestation there is every reason to believe that the current incumbents of that dreadful organisation are perhaps similarly inclined. Certainly, benefiting from links with organised crime would come as no surprise.

    1. Wow, I do know they are-were very officious and heavy-handed moderators over at TV. They seemed quite angry most of the time, sort of like me in my old job, working with supremely at risk youth, LOL. Oh, sorry, it was the heavy handed administrators that did the job!

There used to be a very strong Gay undercurrent- element a few years ago on TV, perhaps still is, about the time I got suspended for challenging a post that was entitled " Elton John Says Jesus was Gay."

That cost me a permanent suspension, boy oh boy...

      Signed,

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

  4. I figure any website that allowed Drew Noyes advertise and provide "legal" advice on their forum knowing full well that Drew Noyes is nothing more that a con man shows the level of respect they have for their posters.

Birds of a feather come to mind.

  6. Mostly TV is a mixed bag - pick and choose what you find useful. On the plus side, some of TV can be extremely helpful - for example, visa and travel information, local news, some of the subforums. Some of is less useful - example - private posters investment advice (but at least the daily fascination with "where is gold going in this market" has finally died an overdue death).

While some of the moderators may be heavy-handed, there are also some moderators who are obviously highly intelligent and in some cases extremely helpful.

What I find extremely troubling is TV's giving a platform to dirty lawyers such as the one's highlighted in AD's article. That's just plain unacceptable. So far TV hasn't launched the "financial adviser" subforum they announced at the time they launched the legal advice subforum - with any luck that idea has been put on ice for good.

  7. Go easy on the TVF mods. It's not an easy task. I was a mod for a while and can tell you the other mods are actually all decent folks. There aren't enough mods and the work load can get pretty unbearable at times. I had to stop because I couldn't dedicate enough time to it due to work getting very busy of late although I'd do it again when I have the time.

    1. Err, I know this may well be a radical and entirely left field, crazy solution, but have you not considered a less intrusive policy of intervention might well reduce the perceived workload? But I suppose members complaining about a service from any of the hundreds of advertisers would need to be censored ad nauseam lest George's revenue stream should be diminished. I really can't understand how a website so utterly compromised by commercial considerations in a third world country could attract anyone of any intelligence and integrity to act in an official capacity. Perhaps they, like so many of their members, are simply just a little bit stupid?

    2. Why should I go easy on them - I was a member in 2003, before most Mods and helped attract members to TV. Once the advertising started coming many original members were banned and it became a money making outfit. Just look at the news section - the admin troll in order t get hits.

  8. I have been " banned" from Thai Visa no less than 12 times, and proudly, too. I note of late one does not get the " banned" labeling under the name, but merely loses the opportunity to offer an opinion. I feel quite sure this is a ploy to bolster the member rolls, which is likely 1/10 of what is claimed.

  12. It's really quite boring what goes on over there, you know, being a mod. You just end up dealing with people using the report button against each other in petty squabbles. Gets mind fumblingly dull, real groundhog day stuff. So nothing exciting to report I'm afraid. No conspiracy. No secret agent stuff. No criminal underworld. Just "Posts removed for contravening [insert TVF rule]. Please don't do that. Thank you."

  17. This may come as a shock but the World Wide Web is just that. My whole period as a mod was done from the UK. On the question of honesty, yes, it's pretty boring. There is no great conspiracy. It is hard work mind trying to keep each thread from descending into carnage. You lot don't get to see all the posts that get removed, many are just plain nasty. I just wish posters would be a lot less combative towards each other.

  18. Well here we see the admin person and moderator Scott of Thai Visa Forum at his best supporting his gay Zionist friend Jingthing in his rant concerning discrimination against gays by Christians and Muslims. Note also the nicely slipped in defence for pedophiles too in the thread God what nauseating pieces of excrement Scott and Jingthing along with their allies are.

See below for the link and below that the two posts from Scott in his defence of pedophiles.

1 : Fundamentalist Muslims are murdering gay people ... where is the outrage?

2: Bacha Bazi, is a type of child abuse and usually involves pre-pubescent boys. It is not really relevant to this discussion.

The children involved in Bacha Bazi are probably not gay and many of the adults are probably pedophiles and incapable of having a relationship with an adult, male or female.

3: Pedophiles are usually fixated at an emotional state that is similar to the age of the child. Since this fixation occurs before puberty, the person is attracted to children that age and children before puberty normally have little interest in the opposite sex, thus the attraction is to males. So, no, it is not about sexual orientation.

    But we are straying off-topic.

These posters are fine examples of the fact that Thai Visa Forum is a front for con men and sexual deviants and rabid Zionists , Who are all protected by the corrupt biased perverted modrator Scott.

    2. Yes and now it is worse. You have outright supporters of pedophilia like mod Scott who also is very anti Muslim and Arab in his outlook. Any reference to Israel and Zionism that he and his friend Jingthing do not agree with is quickly removed and posters suspended and ultimately banned too. The other rabid mods that spring to mind are Peter Cool and the infamous metisded. Do not question any decision they make or your finished on Thai Visa Forum. When I asked why a mod was posting biased comments in a particular thread I was warned and told ''mods have their own opinions and those opinions do not affect their moderator duties. Well that was a laugh a minute comment too..

    3. Thai Visa Forum is now supporting a new scam from that well known provider of Education visa's(at a price Macwalen School of Languages. Now for a paltry $1200 U.S. you can become a successful investor using the Macwalen School of Investment course which will according to comments will guarantee you at least a 100% and up to a whooping 220% return on any investments that you may make on the worlds stock markets. Macwalen himself is according to his claims as rich as Croesus and in reality doesn't need to work, all due to his investment strategies, here is a link to the con man http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/811854-walen-school-of-investing. Yet another fine example of a moderator (Slyanimal) protected Thai Visa advertiser

    4. Interesting you should let the cat out of the bag re 'Scott' and 'Jingthing'. I've been 'suspended' twice this week, once for posting a well known clip from a UK documentary on Muslim madrassas and today for calling Clinton $hillary, of whom Jingthing is a staunch follower. How a ban of that by which she, an American politician, is widely known on social media on a Thai based expat forum defies logic. However I'm sick and tired of their attacks on freedom of speech, we have enough of that IN country.I've noticed not more than a few 'newbies' but I really don't feel the content of this drivelling forum worth my while setting up a throwaway email account for, and if you look at the stats on any given day, nor could many others. Hell with them. Unfortunately though, all that's left is the dreary sparse and cliquey TD.

  19. There is at last an awakening of posters on Thai Visa. A number of P.M.s are being received by members from other members calling for action against the censorship and biased moderation in the various forums. This clarion call has been spontaneous it is noticeable that a large number of well established posters who are not radical in their approach to matters now feel strong enough to question what is happening. The time is coming when there is going to be a number of questions asked by sponsors on the forum concerning the respectability and the honesty of the forum. There are may more advertising outlets in a similar format to Thai Visa, and the dip in income to Georges pocket will hit him where it hurts too. Couldn't happen to a nicer chap. All dogs have their day but the dogs that run Thai Visa are coming to the end of their days.

  22. So we still await replies from MacWalen about this matter which Macwalen claims he got all mixed up about what like what company shares and what dates. The use of cut and paste and creative editing is inded a talent that MacWalen seems to have. Griffiths University it seems have no record of him , so is their perhaps creative use of another identity here.We see that MacWalen is thinking and publicly stating that other Poles hate him. Now why would he think that, is there a reason for that frame of mind, a business deal gone adrift funny finances perhaps? Just ask why has MaxWlen got Thai papers and why does he want to or need to renounce his Polish nationality, is it to avoid possible extradition for something serious that may restrict his freedom in the future should he return to Poland? There is indeed a big fog of deceit clouding MacWalen and his past, never mind soon the wind of truth will reveal the true facts.Schools in the Philippines and China could be great bolt holes in the event of an emergency.
